Little League divisions run on “league age” — your child’s age on August 31, 2027 for the Spring 2027 season. The age ranges overlap on purpose: if your child falls in an overlap, our Player Agent places them where they’ll develop best.

Tee Ball — league age 4–7. Where it starts. Kids hit off a tee, learn the basics, and fall in love with the game. No draft — teams are formed by our Player Agent with requests, school, and balance in mind.

Minor — Coach/Machine Pitch — league age 5–11. Players build their fundamentals with coach pitch or machine pitch. Players league age 5–6 must have completed one regular season of Tee Ball.

Minor — Player Pitch — league age 7–12. Players develop their skills through live player pitch and team competition.

Majors — league age 9–12. The classic Little League division — full Little League rules, a league tournament at season’s end, and eligibility for All-Stars and the Little League tournament trail.

Intermediate (50/70) — league age 11–13. Junior League — league age 12–14. Senior League — league age 13–16. Bigger fields and a bigger game for older players. These divisions are offered as registration numbers allow.

Seasons. Our main season is Spring (registration opens in December and closes in February; every team plays a full regular season followed by our league tournament). We also run a Fall Ball season focused on development and fun. Selected players can continue into All-Stars each summer, representing Granbury in district tournament play.

Coaching & volunteering. Every GYBA coach and volunteer passes a background check and works under the league’s safety plan. Interested in coaching? You don’t need to be an expert — you need to care about kids. Contact us and we’ll get you started.
